HELLO PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET! *waves*
I am BACK! *evil laughter*
haha ok, so today I am going to give a book review on The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger!
Why am I reading it: I am reading this book for English class
Rate: I rate it 0 out of 5 stars
Why do I rate this: The entire book Holden just complains about his life, which by the way isn't that bad... It has a very poor plot line and put me to sleep, I HAVE NEVER FOUND A BOOK THAT MAKES ME FALL ASLEEP O.O
Do I recommend it: no, unless you are having trouble sleeping ;D
OK! I wanna burn this book. It is SO bad >.<
(I am actually doing that tonight XD)
The ENTIRE time Holden mopes around the city complaining about his life... His life isnt even that bad! OnO
He doesn't like anything! I found him so annoying and I just wanted to throw the book against the wall. I found him repetitive and immature. Ugh it was bad...
So thats my book review i guess XD
xoxo

Cherry: Oh No, Not Another One
Hey everyone, it's Cherry again. :)
I hope that anyone that listened to the music I put up yesterday enjoyed it. In fact, I'm listening to some more Zelda music now... and yes, this is what I do in my free time. ...I have no life. XD
Anyways, diverting the attention away from my lack of a normal, not-nerdy, and interesting life, how about reading some more rants? :D
Now I know that both Owl and Aria have already done rants as their post-of-the-day, but since I already posted a more fun post on video game music, I figured that it would be fine to rant once again. Oh, and just keep in mind that I actually wrote this a while ago. I just never posted it up anywhere until now. ;P So, without further ado, let's begin!
In school about a month ago, I passed by someone in the hallways who had said something like this to one of their friends: "We don't make a difference, you know." ...Or something like this: "We don't really matter in the large scheme of things." (I don't really remember XD) Now, when I heard that I was very tempted to go up to her and politely argue against her on that point right then and there, but of course that would be strange - especially since we didn't really know each other. However, I would at least like to make my argument against that here.
I do believe that each and every one of us makes a difference - a rather large one in fact. Others may disagree on what I think of as "making a large difference", but this definitely is included in the "large" section in my book. :) The reason why, is because of a simple thing called talking to people. Each time you talk to someone, you change them (although it's by a very very very tiny amount). It's not noticeable at first, but overtime, you'll often be able to see the change that you have made in others. (I say often, as sometimes it's not noticeable [or you don't get the chance to see the change as you don't become friends with them or something]. For example, you may think that your friend was always super sarcastic or something, when in reality they weren't before.) I say this from experience. I've changed a lot from who I was before, and it's all because of all of the people I met throughout my life. I mean, I've always been a really shy person, but recently, I've noticed that I've been opening up to a lot of more people that I'm not super close to, while before I would have only opened up to my close friends. Everyone I've met has also made me a lot stronger as a person, which I'm extremely grateful for. (Thanks you guys!) ^u^ And if I've changed so much from just a few things that people have said to me or done, then think of what change you've already made in others. Your outgoing actions could encourage someone to speak up themselves. Your kind words could influence them to be kind to others as well. Your expertise in a certain skill or subject, or even just your determination in said subjects could inspire others. There are so many things that your actions or words could have help made happen.
I want to make one more point before I end this. If whoever's reading this believes that what I said about talking to people isn't making a really a big difference (even though what I said means that you've influenced and changed hundreds of people, possibly more, and will change even more throughout the entirety of your life), and you do believe that you, as an individual, have not and cannot make a difference, then all I can say, is that if you want to make a difference, then the first step is to stop thinking that you can't. After all, like Michael Jackson said in the song "Man in the Mirror" (such a great chorus song =u= ), "If you want to make a world a better place, take a look at yourself, and then make a change."

My Opinion on Opinions
So as this is my first post, I'm not 100% sure what to write about. Obsessions? Thoughts? Concepts that keep me up at night? I'm not sure, but today I feel like rambling so that's what I shall do. I've been thinking a lot about opinions lately, especially today. What I'm wondering is, when is it ok to express opinions, and when should you keep them to yourself? I've found that often, the biggest problem with both sides of expressing opinions, especially on the Internet, is that no one really thinks about why both the opinion and the hate on the opinion is being expressed. I'm sure everyone's seen that kind of conversation. One person comments something under a YouTube video that's slightly controversial, and at least 20 people respond with "OMG YOURE SO STUPID SHUT UP" which leads to the person responding negatively and on and on and on. The thing is, I don't think that anyone really realizes what they're creating: a wall between opinions that gets harder and harder to cross as life goes on. Hateful comments on videos do literally nothing, but so do responses to those comments. What, do you think said hater will see your response and immediately go, "oh, I take that back, I'm sorry"? No, not usually, as pride is a powerful force. If people see a negative response to their opinion, they'll immediately get defensive, making them far less likely to change sides. Also, when people see haters, the exact same thing happens to them; they see that opinion as childish, simply because of one persons bad choice of expression. I think that the way everyone should respond to this kind of thing is ignoring it, as best you can. Maybe report the post, maybe block them, maybe even provide a resonable point against them as long as you're not being rude and you truly believe they can be reasoned with. Just be careful around the haters, ok? Alright, rant over. That was long. Maybe I'll have a more cheerful post next time, and remember, if you hate my opinion on opinions, leave respectful debate points in the comments below!
Cherry: No One's Posting Today So...
(Edit: Actually Aria is posting today....oops.)
Let's listen to some music! :D (video game music of course)
I'm working on some map for school and have been listening to these Legend of Zelda Re-mixes. I figured that it would be nice to share it with whomever happens upon our little blog. :3
Oh, and if you haven't played a Legend of Zelda game yet, and are into the adventures and/or puzzles in video games, then you should definitely play some of the games in this series. It's one of my favorite franchises. >w<
(If you're having a tough time deciding which one to play, my personal recommendations and favorites are Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.)
Music Time!
Song Of Storms: Music Box
from Ocarina of Time (my favorite Ocarina song :D )
Minish Village Theme
from the Minish Cap
Epona's Song: Music Box
from Ocarina of Time
(This is a really nice music box version. It's much better than the Song of Storms one actually.)
Wind In the Sail (Sea Theme)
from the WindWaker (SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES)
(This one is definitely the best of the four that I put up here.)
Enjoy~

Owl: Stop Your Condescension Rant, Please
Bonjour, my bunnies,
My first actual blogging post
I have decided to do a thing where my main topic, should I have one, will be in a particular color that is different from the rest.
Okay, so I'm going to rant about something that really bothers me.
And that thing is vegans.
Now, I personally love the vegan choice, it's great that there are so many people out there who feel strongly enough about saving animal lives and protecting creatures from the slaughterhouses.
What I am bothered by is when vegans shame those who don't follow their lifestyle.
And again, it's not that I think slaughterhouses are right, or that it's morally correct to kill and eat living beings. It's just that I believe it is part of nature, and I would not give up eating meat and the like.
And many vegans are very respectful, that's true, but seriously?
There are so many vegans who are like "you awful asshole, you would actually do that? I would never kill an animal and eat it. gosh, we're like, one and the same with that creature. you're such a barbarian, and there's nothing respectful about stabbing animals, so no, i'm not going to respect that it is a personal choice"
COME ON WORLD. Give it a rest.
I will reiterate, killing animals really is not that respectable or amazing, but it is a fact of life. Plenty of other animals do it, and some are even cannibalistic. You might say "be the bigger person, and stop!" but I really feel like the presence of predation, carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores are part of this world. You can't have just one. You need them all.
And so ends my lovely rant against vegans who think they're better because of a personal choice that no one should be forced to make.
Hopefully next week will be more interesting, but we shall see.
Until next wednesday, my nightowl babies,
Owl

Hello there people of the fabulous internet! I'm the perfect awesome one of us ;D
My ramblings are going to be really random probably and I don't really have a specific set of topics, but if y'all have ideas tell me! Because I totally know what I'm doing here
I tend to use a lot of sarcasm and like Owl said, if i say anything offensive please don't take it personally ^u^
*hugs internet people*
I am a generally happy person who like cake, music, drawing, painting, singing, listening to music, photo editing, taking photos, filming and editing videos, and writing. Lets not even start to go into my TV shows XD (I'll talk about them later ;D)
I am very passionate about my interest and also have a BIG imagination *confetti and ideas everywhere*

Owl: Statement of Stuff
Hey, internet people,
I'm the really weird, awkward, and generally creepy one.
Most of my ramblings will be:
I'm the really weird, awkward, and generally creepy one.
Most of my ramblings will be:
- descriptions of tiny bits/facts of life
- anything related to the fine arts or the performing arts
- pessimistic/realist/political rants
- CAT
And that about covers it. A lot of my writings have innuendos and sarcasm. If I say something mean or offensive, don't take it personally, I'm probably just joshing ya.
I plan on posting every wednesday, but chances are that I won't remember that.
I love the humanities (history and english topics), the fine arts, and the performing arts, so for you pretentious plebeians, I'm the one you agree with.
General stuff about me: I'm typically pessimistic (despite being close friends with Cherry), I'm agnostic, I'm pro-LGBTQ rights, being one of the community myself, and CAT
If anyone ever reads this blog, then please send me topics you'd like to have me respond to. I love responding to things.
I'll also cheaply plug myself into these blogs in a variety of subtle ways (check out my dA).
So yeah, that's me.
Your Wednesday Owl, the night owl of the house.

Cherry: An Introduction
As an optimistic person with strong beliefs, I'll more often than not be talking about those subjects in a high school setting. When I'm not talking about my opinions on optimism, I'll be found to be talking about either gaming or cooking - whether it'll be discussing interesting topics, theories, or events in games, or posting cool recipes or useful tips and tricks in cooking. Either way, there'll be a lot of different topics offered on this blog in addition to my own, so I hope you'll stick around. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
